Snow blade

Grasshopper offers blades for its True ZeroTurn and FrontMount power units. The blades are available in 48- and 60-inch widths. They can move dirt, sand, gravel and snow as well as dislodge ice from sidewalks and drives. Blades are adjustable to allow operation straight ahead or 25 degrees left or right. And easy-to-use control lever permits pre-set height adjustment, while a quick-response foot control allows intermittent height adjustment. The 60-inch PowerBlade uses a self-contained hydraulic system for lift, while the combo model has hydraulic angling combined with quick-response foot control height adjustment. The QuikConverter implement system lets you remove the mowing deck and add dozer blade without tools.

Hydraulic Spreader

Sno-Way's skid steer hydraulic spreader is constructed of rugged polyethylene and steel. Construction includes stainless steel in corrosive areas and a powder-painted framing. This unit will spread from 4 to 30 feet through the use of adjustable flow deflectors for an even spread pattern. A material flow shut-off gate is standard. The side-wall geometry of this unit ensures salt is pulled down and into the spinner for free flow dispersal. The unit features a universal mounting plate and is self standing for easy off-season storage. The spreader holds 10.25 cubic feet of free-flowing material.

Meyer Products Inc. offers both polyethylene and steel snowplows; however, they recommend the Meyer Max polyethylene snowplow for those serious about plowing because it's more slippery, it's stronger and it won't rust. The slippery surface allows snow to roll off the plow instead of being pushed or caked on the front of the blade, saving wear and tear on your truck and money on gas. Polyethylene also resists punctures and dents.
